We enter the longest period of the church liturgical year: The Season after Pentecost. Once called Kingdomtide or Ordinary Time, the season counts the weeks after Pentecost until the week before Advent. This year, the Season after Pentecost contains twenty-four weeks and takes us deep into the life of the Church as expresed through the life of Jesus.
