Symbols of Faith #11

From time to time a different cross from Pastor Charles' collection, and how it came to be on display at St. Paul's, will be shared.

As you may know, Pastor Charles' last name, Alkula, is of Finnish origins. This mug bears a Nordic cross and depicts the flag of Finland. Finland is among nearly twenty other nations who have crosses on their flags including all of Finland's Scandinavian neighbors.
