Lay Servant Ministries Class - Devotional Life in the Wesleyan Tradition

Structured around Wesley's "means of grace," this study covers, among other topics, prayer, Scripture, The Lord's Supper, and fasting - major features in John Wesley's devotional life. Participant will learn how they can apply Wesley's ministry to their own life.

This course is an advanced course for certification of Certified Lay Servants and counts as a "Heritage" course for certification of Certified Lay Speakers and as continuing education for Certified Lay Servants, Certified Lay Speakers and Certified Lay Ministers.

The course is open to everyone, involvement in the Lay Servant Ministries program is not required.
    
The course will be offered as five online video conferencing sessions, 2:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. on Sundays, March 14, 21, & 28 and April 11 & 18, 2021. Participation in all 5 sessions is required to complete the course. The link to connect to the course via Zoom will be provided to registered participants.
    
There is no charge for this course, however participants must acquire their own text: "Devotional Life in the Wesleyan Tradition" by Steve Harper
