Virtual Mission Volunteers Training

The General Board of Global Ministries is offering a virtual orientation experience on September 3 and 4 for all individuals and couples interested in learning more about the Mission Volunteer program or those who are discerning future long-term volunteer service as part of their journey. There is no registration cost to share in the virtual orientation, but please register using the online form at this link. Registrations will be accepted through August 15. 

Sessions during the Mission Volunteer orientation will be held from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. MDT and will include topics such as The Theology of Mission, Cross-Cultural Expansion, Fundraising for Volunteer Service and more. Participants are expected to prepare by completing required readings provided upon receipt of the online registration and give their full commitment to the learning process and virtual environment.

Placement opportunities will be available in 2021 for all interested virtual orientation participants.
