+Join Pastor Melanie Martin-Dent for a Mission u virtual study that uses Monique Morris' book Pushout and the bible to raise awareness of the crisis faced by many Black girls in obtaining an education. As Christians, we are called to engage in mission through advocacy for the well-being of all. This four-part series presents how even with obstacles, stigmas, stereotypes and despair, Black girls still find ways to breathe remarkable dignity into their lives. Class is sponsored by Mtn. Sky Conf. Mission Team and Mtn. Sky UMW. Free and open to all adults.
