February 13 @ St. Paul's UMC: Prayers

Joys:

+Our community lifts up our prayers Braden Nunnery as he continues his Army training.  

+We give thanks this morning for the transfer of membership for Johanna Lang to St. Paul's UMC.

+Diane McKnight gives thanks for the return of live music to Cafe` Sole!

+Belinda Alkula gives thanks for the wonderful first week of the God: Stories study!

+We give thanks this for the reopening of the Table Mesa King Soopers.                

+We give thanks for this week's birthdays: Cathy Adams, Diana Bett, Joan Cooper, Sally Owen                                                                                                                            

+We are blessed this morning by Belinda Alkula (Zoom), Scott Glancy (slides), and Amy Abshire (liturgist).

 

Concerns:

+Sandi Cook's mother, Mildred Beiter, is in the hospital in Kansas.

+We lift up Harry Owen and Bob Muckle, Sr. as they make their way in the world.

+Praying for our neighbor, Chuck McElwain, husband of Joan Russell -- tomorrow he has surgery … praying for his healing and recovery.

+Praising God for a wonderful, meaningful virtual adult study, Mission u: "Climate Justice: A Call to Hope and Action." To date, we have 190 people registered. They are from across the USA. Today is session 2. We meet Sunday afternoons this month.

+Jerry & Mryle ask for prayers for their nephew, Rick, who is being treated for cancer.  

+We lift up in prayer for those continuing to work through the recovery from the Marshall fire.                                                                                                                         

+We continue to offer prayers for those impacted by the ongoing COVID pandemic.
