Helping our Blackfeet neighbors

Grace and Peace!

At Saturday's Mountain Sky Conference United Methodist Women's annual meeting (via Zoom) -- Sheri Hill, married to Pastor Calvin Hill, serving the Blackfeet United Methodist Parish (BUMP) ... told us about this.

+COVID-19 cases are rapidly rising. Testing results take over a week to get.
+Cold weather, snow ... a lot of people heat homes by burning wood.
+Quarantined folks can't get out to get supplies and wood.
+Folks sick with COVID-19 don't want to eat. Pedialyte is preferred for them, since it helps them stay hydrated and provides needed electrolytes.
+Sheri said they cannot find Pedialyte anywhere near them. And people don't have the funds to buy it, anyway, because they are sick and cannot work.
+She also said they desperately need PPE .... masks. They need thermometers and disinfectant sprays, which they cannot find anywhere near them.

They feel under siege ... by COVID-19, by the weather, by isolation, by sickness and despair. If you are sick and cannot work, how do you heat your home and provide food and supplies for your family?

I know they will appreciate any help that is provided to them.

The mailing address provided below is the address the Pastor Calvin and Sheri Hill use. Any items mailed there will be received by them. And they will ensure the supplies get to the people most in need.

God bless you for your prayers and your loving concern for these brothers and sisters in Christ!
