October 11 @ St. Paul's UMC: Prayers

 

Joys:

+Blessings of the changing of the seasons.
+Pastor Charles' friend, Sue, has been able to move in with a son in Maine.
+Michele M. is thankful for the Netflix movies on the gospel accounts.
+Steve M. is thankful that his co-worker, Scott, has good health news and is back to work.
+We are blessed to have Louise C. providing the music this morning.
+Pastor Seo and the Korean Church shared some Korean treats from their Thanksgiving celebration with the Alkula's.
+Sally O. and family had a wonderful time at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park.

Concerns:

Don B. asks for prayers for his sister, Betty, who is having health concerns.
+Prayers for Jackie B. on the death of her mother, Bev, in Texas.
+Martha B.'s co-worker has been diagnosed with Covid-19.
+Steve B.'s dad, Ray, is moving into an assisted living arrangement.
+ Tim C.'s aunt was being moved into a retirement center and the movers, who were not wearing PPE, caused Tim's aunt and other family members to be infected with Covid-19.
+Lifting up the people of Louisiana following the aftermath of yet another hurricane.
+Six United Methodists were among 19 civilians killed in a massacre in Mamove, Congo that has been blamed on the Allied Democratic Forces, an armed rebel group that operates in Eastern Congo and Uganda. 
+Those who are dealing with the impact of the pandemic including those facing health concerns, economic anxiety, or other disruptions of life.
+Lifting up in prayers those affected by the pervasive nature of racism in our society.
+Lifting up in prayer those impacted by the wildfires in our state and elsewhere.
