Thank you for the leadership of the first St. Paul’s United Methodist Church blood drive. Here are some of the highlights of our April 14 drive:
- 17 donors scheduled a blood donation ahead of time: 1 no show, 0 cancellations
- 8 1st time donors
- 3 people walked in day of
- 14 donors were registered to give whole blood
- 13 whole blood donations made; each donation can potentially help save more than one life
- 4 double red cell donations (each produces 2 units)
- 7 units collected
- 2 day of deferrals
- Total of 20 donations collected, helping over 40 patients!!
Thank you for everything you do to engage donors with the blood drive while ensuring safety during the pandemic. The time and effort you put into marketing the drive and getting people signed up ahead of time has helped A LOT of patients, while ensuring Vitalant remains sustainable to continue serving patients and hospitals in Colorado and beyond, and we're grateful to count you among our friends.
