2021 Annual Conference is in the books

For the second year in a row, the Annual Conference (AC) session of the Mountain Sky Conference was held via Zoom. Pastor Charles and Belinda attended on behalf of St. Paul's UMC.

Annual Conference is equal parts family reunion, business meeting, celebration of the year just past, and planning for the future.

In addition to the memorial service for the fourteen active and retired clergy who have died in the past year, recognition was given to the twenty-two clergy who are retiring this year. The complete list can be found at this link.

In the business portion of the gathering, endorsement of the Christmas Covenant and the Protocol of Reconciliation and Grace Through Separation was given. The Conference also voted to accept the petitions of Bowen Community UMC (Monte Vista, CO) and Cheyenne Wells UMC (Cheyenne Wells, CO) to disaffiliate from the United Methodist Church.
