October 24 @ St. Paul's UMC: Prayers

 

Joys:

+We give thanks for the work done Friday and Saturday at the first-ever hybrid Annual Conference for the Mountain Sky Conference.                                 

+We give thanks for this week's birthdays: Belinda Alkula, Dan Daniels, Molly Nunnery, Polly Stowe, Melissa Sullivan, and Gregory Wahl.        

+We give thanks this morning for the music of Lorie Courier (piano) and Ron Revier (choir). We also give thanks for Amy Abshire (liturgist), Belinda Alkula (video/Zoom), Austin Cooper (usher), Josie Glancy (nursery), and Rebecca Glancy (flowers).

Concerns: 

+Sally O. asks for prayers for Harry and all care givers.             

+Steve M. asks for prayers for Michele who is not feeling well.  

+We lift up Bowen Community UMC (Monte Vista, CO) and Cheyenne Wells UMC (Cheyenne Wells, CO) whose petitions for disaffiliation from the United Methodist Church were accepted by the Annual Conference.                                                               

+We continue to pray for those impacted by the pandemic.                                     

+We join with people across the USA in mourning the deaths of 234 people due to gun violence last week.
