November 14 @ St. Paul's UMC: Prayers

Joys:

+We give thanks for St. Paul's UMC's 57th anniversary tomorrow (Nov. 15, 1964).

+Martha Batch gives thanks for all those who have shared their pledge cards towards St. Paul's 2022 budget.

+Louise give thanks to all the military people, their families, and her relatives who serve and have served our country.

+We are thankful for those with birthdays this week: Karlene Ferguson.

+We give thanks this morning for the music of Ron Revier (choir) and Lorie Courier (piano). We also give thanks for Belinda Alkula (video/Zoom), Austin Cooper (usher), Claudia Mills (liturgist), and Joey & Jim Vander Vorste (flowers).

 

Concerns:

+We join together in praying for Don L. as he continues his healing in the hospital.

+Jerry Ferguson, long time member of St. Paul's, died Thursday. He would have turned 91 on December 4th. Please pray for comfort and peace for Karlene and the family as they deal with this loss. 

+Michele lifts up in prayer Josh and Laurie who are recovering from Covid.

+Michele asks prayers for Tonie who is having surgery on Tuesday.

+Abby asks prayers for her family on the seventh anniversary of Ty's passing.

+Brenda lifts up her mother, Ruth, who is recovering from an injury.

+Prayers for Bob M., Sr. who is having health concerns.

+Rebecca lifts up in prayer her yoga student, Iona, who had a non-yoga related injury.

+Prayers for Harry O. as he transitions a new living arrangement.

+Sandra asks for prayers for Jim for his upcoming surgery.

+We continue to pray for those impacted by the pandemic.

+We join with people across the USA in mourning the deaths of 272 people due to gun violence last week.
