+Pastor Charles gives thanks for those commissioned or ordained yesterday in the Mountain Sky Conference here in Colorado.
+We give thanks for the work that was begun yesterday on the Nelson Memorial Garden.
+We remembered the saints this morning during worship by sharing the names of those saints who journeyed with us here at St. Paul's UMC whom we lost to death in 2021: Linda Bryant, Wally Cleaveland, and Dotty Lindley.
+This morning, we also lifted up those saints who helped shape our lives: Jim Alkula, Mildred Coleman,Carolyn Smith Hudson, Richard Erickson, Virginia Erickson, Joe Hammitt, Sheila Hammitt, David Himes, Ann McWilliam, John McWilliam, Pat McWilliam, Malcom Rook, Mary Rook, Rev. Charles Schuster, and Lucy Warner.
+We give thanks this morning for the music of Ron Revier (choir) and Christopher Wahl (piano). We also give thanks for Belinda Alkula (video/Zoom), Dennis & Marcia Hult (rosebud), Sandra Jordan (flowers), Claudia Mills (liturgist), and Jim Vander Vorste (usher).
Concerns:
+Kathy asks for prayers for her dad, Don L. who has been admitted to the hospital.
+Dan Daniels requests prayers for the family of Charles Schuster who died last week. Rev. Schuster served as pastor at First UMC in Boulder, as well as in Fort Collins and Arvada. Please pray for peace and comfort for his wife, Cathy, and their daughter as they cope with this loss.
+Michele Matthews would like our prayers for her nephew, Josh, who has been diagnosed with COVID induced pneumonia.
+We continue to pray for those impacted by the pandemic.
+We join with people across the USA in mourning the deaths of 296 people due to gun violence last week.
