November 20 @ St. Paul's UMC: Announcements

+The Transgender Day of Remembrance is recognized each year on November 20th to honor the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence across the world. NextGen & Inclusiveness Ministries invites all of us across Mountain Sky to honor those we’ve lost with a Vigil Service on November 20th @ 6:00pm MST on Facebook Live. Immediately following the service will be a community Zoom session for transgender individuals looking to be in community space together and to share stories of lament and resilience.
You can watch the Vigil Service today @ 6:00pm on the Conference Facebook pageIf you are transgender and would like to attend the community session following the service, please register here.

+Advent begins next week! Be sure to pick up your print copy of the Advent / Christmas devotional. Daily posts of the devotional will be put on the blog and on the St. Paul's UMC - Boulder Facebook page, @boulderstpauls.

+Christmas Ornaments for Rupali, Fairview High School Student Support Services Community Liaison Counselor, who lost her home in the Marshall Fire. The parents and their two sons are facing a Christmas with no Christmas decorations. Rupali does so much for the at-risk students at Fairview High School. It would be great if we could do something for her and her family. One of our church family members thought it would be loving and encouraging if we would donate ornaments for their Christmas tree this year. If you can spare an ornament from your personal collection, donations are gratefully accepted Sundays, November 27 and December 4. The plan is to give them to her by December 6. Questions may be directed to Belinda Alkula.
