Inclusiveness requires more than dreaming or hoping; it requires strategies to overcome cultural conservatism and religious recalcitrance that may not even be recognized, much less confessed. The departure of anti-gay members does not automatically mean United Methodism will become an affirming denomination of all God's people. The upcoming free Inclusiveness VII Conference for United Methodist laity and clergy on November 18 (8:30 AM - Noon) aims to empower the grassroots church to embrace an inclusive mission and ministry. Hear prophets and practitioners speak of their journey towards creating communities of faith that are more reflective of God's future inclusive realm. In an era of threatening so-called "Christian nationalism," embrace a United Methodist vision that is Gospel-centered and life-giving. Register for the webinar here.
