November 5 @ St. Paul's UMC: Prayers

Joys:

+  Joan Cooper is thankful that Debbie F. was able to receive a liver transplant last week and is already back home!

+   Belinda Alkula gives thanks for the two fellowship opportunities offered at St. Paul's in the last week - The Ladies Lunch Bunch and a Dinner Circle (held at the church).

+   Pat Cleaveland is looking forward to next week's church potluck!

+  We celebrate this week's birthdays: Sandy Bainbridge and Karlene Ferguson.

+  We are blessed by those who served this week: Belinda Alkula (videographer), Angela Baker (communion), Steve Bainbridge (greeter), Tim Cook (study group), Lorie Courier (piano), Etta Levitt (Zoom usher), Kathy Lloyd (Zoom host), Claudia Mills (liturgist), Suzanne Polacek (bells), Ron Revier (choir), and Joey Vander Vorste (fellowship/flowers).

Concerns

+  George Gielow, once a deacon at St. Paul's, called to let us know his wife, Joyce Gielow, passed away peacefully October 28. Joyce was baptized at St. Paul's.

+  Amy Abshire asks for prayers for her nephew, Garrett, who was hospitalized in Pueblo last week and is now back home. Please pray for his recovery, physical and spiritual. Keep her sister, Amanda, and all her family in your prayers.

+  Tim Cook lift up in prayer the family of Rich Marsh, who died suddenly last week. For the past 17 years he had served as our conference chancellor (the chancellor is the lawyer for the conference). A loss to his family most of all, of course, but also to the entire Mountain Sky Conference.

+  Claudia Mills asks for prayers for the Afghan people being expelled from Pakistan in the coming weeks.

+  Tim Cook asks for prayers for Frank R. who is having medical concerns.

+  Prayers are asked for the people of Nepal following Friday's earthquake.

+  Claudia Mills lifts up the people of Gaza and Israel during this time of conflict.
