October 6 @ St. Paul's UMC: Prayers

Joys: 

+Pastor Charles celebrates that his great-niece, Lexi, has passed the Georgia bar! 

+Frank & Katherine Richardson are thankful for the progress being made on their home. They hope to have it done by year's end.

+Steve Batch is happy that Mary F. has moved into a new residence.

+Katherine Richardson is thankful Sydney has moved back to Louisville and into a veterinary practice.

+We are blessed to have David, a friend of Kyle, singing in the choir today.

+We celebrate that we were able to take 460 lbs. of donations to EFAA last week.

+We give thanks for this week's birthday: Etta Levitt. We also give thanks for this week's anniversary: Steve & Martha Batch.

+We give thanks for those participating today: Belinda Alkula (video), Pat Cleaveland (fellowship), Tim Cook (class), Kyle Dacon (piano), Rebecca Glancy (liturgist), Etta Levitt (Zoom usher), Kathy Lloyd (Zoom host), Suzanne Polacek (bells), Ron Revier (choir), and Jim Vander Vorste (greeter).

Concerns: 

+We lift up in our prayers the continuing recovery efforts from Hurricane Helene and for the 227 who are known to have died as the result of the storm.

+Prayers for those in the path of Hurricane Milton which is expected to hit Florida's Gulf Coast sometime on Wednesday as a category 5 storm.

+Diane McKnight asks for prayer for Tom C., Ariel's father-in-law, who is experiencing health concerns.

+Pastor Charles lifts up the residents of Brookdale Meridian going through a Covid flare-up.

+We continue to pray for those in the midst of conflict in Ukraine & Russia, Gaza & Israel, Lebanon, Yemen, Sudan, Iran, and wherever else God's people might be in distress.
