March 5 @ St. Paul's UMC: Announcements


+Claudia's “love” class
 meets on Thursdays at 7 p.m. via Zoom. All are welcome! Find the link in News You Can Use.

+Breakfast Fellowship will next meet on Saturday, March 11, at 8:00 a.m. at Doug’s Diner (2574 Baseline Road, Basemar Shopping Center). No reservations necessary!

+Everyone is invited to attend the Mountain View UMC Hymn Festival on Saturday, March 11 at 7:00 PM. If you would enjoy singing in the choir,you are welcome. Rehearsal on Wednesday prior at 7:00 PM and that day from 4-6. Any music questions can be directed to Brian du Fresne, worship@mtview.org 

+Daylight Savings Time returns next Sunday, March 12. Remember to "spring forward" before going to bed on Saturday.

+Sew What will meet on Friday, March 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Joan Cooper’s home. Please R.S.V.P. by March 14 to Joan via email, text, or phone call (ajcooperjr@comcast.net / 303-898-8034). 

+As a district, we gather at least once a year for fellowship, celebration, and learning. Our 2023 District Gathering will be held virtually on March 18, 9am-12pm. Please use this zoom link and join us. The Rev. Jeff Rainwater will help facilitate a very pertinent conversation on ways to learn reach out to our neighbors. Aging and decline are at the core of the struggle most churches are facing today. So, Rev. Rainwater’s insight will benefit everyone irrespective of church size. 

+General Commission on Religion and Race and ResourceUMC invite you to take part in Together We Dine, a Vital Conversation on race relations. This event is a virtual experience that will host community and faith members to engage in courageous and safe conversations about the state of race relations. Project Unity trained facilitators guides participants in a structured dialogue about race. We aim for this experience to prove that what unites us is greater than what divides us.   When: Tuesday, March 28th via Zoom, 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm MST. Register here.
