July 14 @ St. Paul's UMC: Prayers


Joys: 

+Suzanne is thankful for Ron's good health report.

+Angel Baker gives thanks for her daughter, Samantha, being with her this week.

+Ron Revier celebrates his granddaughter's sixth birthday.

+Steve Matthews is thankful for the prayers for his recovery.

+Belinda Alkula gives thanks for the Ladies Lunch Bunch, Summer Book Group, Breakfast Fellowship, and Pastor Charles' safe return from Spokane, Washington where he had attended the Western Jurisdictional Conference.

+Sally Owen gives thanks for the wonderful trip to Frisco last week.

+Pastor Charles gives thanks for receiving his chaplaincy certification last week and for his nomination to the episcopacy at the Western Jurisdictional Conference.

+We offer our thanks and prayers for Heyji Miranda and her family as they embark on their move to New York.

+We give thanks for the handbell quintet—Amy Abshire, Sabrina Bishop, Louise Cook, Kathy Lloyd, and Suzanne Polacek for today’s special music.

+We give thanks for this week's birthdays: Austin Cooper, Bobby Dahlstrom, Heidi Soha, and Iris.

+We give thanks for those participating in today's worship service: Amy Abshire (liturgist), Belinda Alkula (video), Steve Bainbridge (greeter), Lylah Bishop (acolyte), Tim Cook (class), Austin & Joan Cooper (flowers), Etta Levitt (Zoom usher), Kathy Lloyd (Zoom host), Heyji Miranda (piano), and Suzanne Polacek (fellowship).

Concerns: 

+Claudia Mills asked for prayers for our country following yesterday's shooting at the rally for former President Trump yesterday in Pennsylvania.

+Sandi Cook lifts up her friend Kathy's husband who is facing a declining health story.

+Molly Nunnery asks for prayers for Braden on his upcoming fitness test.

+Jovanka Jones asked for the church family to pray for her co-worker Vicky whose 33-year-old son Devon died a couple of weeks ago.

+We continue to pray for those in the midst of conflict in Haiti, Yemen, South Sudan, Ukraine & Russia, Gaza & Israel, and wherever else God's people are in distress.
