 Joys:

+We give thanks for the blessing of hearing the choir sing again!

+We give thanks for those participating in our virtual blood drive.

+We give thanks for all those who have been blessed on Grandparents Day.

+Steve & Martha B. are thankful for Steve's sister, Carol, here for worship.

+Steve & Martha B. are also thankful for those coming today for the celebration of Rae B.'s (Steve's dad) 90th birthday.

+We give thanks for this week's birthday: Lisa Berlin, Pat Muckle, & Christopher Wahl.

+We give thanks this morning for the music of Lorie Courier (piano) and Ron Revier (choir). We also give thanks for Belinda Alkula (video/Zoom), Austin Cooper (usher), Rebecca Glancy (liturgist), Etta Levitt (Zoom usher), Christopher Wahl (sound board), and Louise Cook (flowers).

Concerns:

+Louise C. requests prayers for her sister, Mary, in Tucson, who is recovering at home following a hospital stay.

+We lift up all those impacted by the events of 9/11 on that day and in the years since.

+Pastor Charles remembers Christopher Lee Burford, 23, of Hubert, NC, who was killed at the Pentagon on 9/11. Pastor Charles officiated the funeral service for this sailor when he was a chaplain at the Naval Hospital - Camp Lejeune.

+Amy A. asks for prayers for her friend, Debbie, who is waiting for a Covid test result.

+Amy A. requests prayers for Debbie's son, Chris, who is looking at surgery.

+We continue to pray for those impacted by the ongoing pandemic.

+We join with people across the USA in mourning the deaths of 215 people due to gun violence last week.
