June 11 @ St. Paul's UMC: Announcements

+Would you like to grow in your faith this summer? You are invited to sign up for The Wired Word, a free virtual study that is emailed to you each Thursday morning. Taking a story from the that week's headlines and using scripture lessons that are applicable, participants are invited to consider their faith in light of the news of the day. Please let Pastor Charles know if you are interested.

+Women’s Summer Book Group will meet on Thursdays beginning on June 22 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. via Zoom. The book is Find the Good: Unexpected Life Lessons from a Small-Town Obituary Writer by Heather Lende. The group will discuss two chapters each week. If you want to join but are not on Belinda’s email list, let her know!

+New newsletter feature! We are going to begin printing wedding anniversaries in St. Paul’s monthly newsletter. Please submit your wedding anniversary (month and date — year is optional) to the church office at office@saintpaulsboulder.org.

+The Sound of Music at BDT Stage. As of now, 22 of us are signed up to see this well-loved show on Thursday, July 20. We still have tables available. We’d love to have you join us for this next-to-last show at BDT. Let Judy Waller know if you want to be a part of this group.

+Fellowship time will continue through the summer at 11:15 a.m. following worship. (We are NOT moving fellowship to 9:45 a.m. before the service as we have done in previous summers.) Plan to stay and enjoy time with your church family. Also, take your turn as host! Sign up at the back of the sanctuary.

+Free Virtual Mission u Adult Study. It is based on Exploring the Lord’s Prayer as a Spiritual Practice for Social Transformation by Riva Tableisma, available in print and Kindle versions. Four consecutive Thursday evenings, July 11, 18, 25, and August 1, 7:00-9:30 pm via Zoom. This study is for men and women. Find registration links in the E-pistle and News You Can Use. Questions? Contact Belinda Alkula.

+Our church blog will record its 3,000th post later this week. Be sure to make Bolder St. Paul's a regular part of your internet experience!
