Joys:

+We give thanks for Jessica B.'s college graduation.

+Pat C. gives thanks for the many messages sent about Wally's death.

+Rebecca G. gives thanks for the safe return of Josie following a camping trip

+We give thanks for this week's birthday: Rhea E., Terri H., Kevin L., Claudia M.

+We were blessed this morning through the music of Lorie Courier (piano). We also give thanks for Amy Abshire (liturgist), Belinda Alkula (video/Zoom),Tim Cook (adult class), Austin Cooper (usher), Etta Levitt (Zoom usher), Myrle Myers & Skippy Rollins (fellowship), and Jim & Joey Vander Vorste (flowers/fellowship).

Concerns:

+We mourn as a community the death of Wally Cleaveland this past Thursday at home.

+Tim C. asks prayer for the family of Kaye M. (mother of David A., former member of St. Paul's) following her death last week.

+Amy A. lifts up her husband's nephews, Kevin H. who has entered hospice care and Marty P. who is running the length of the Erie Canal to raise funds for colorectal cancer research.

+Prayers are offered for the people of Afghanistan.

+Rebeccca G. lifts up the students and teachers of BVSD as school begins this week. Josie will be a freshman and Ben will be a senior.

+We pray for the people of Haiti following yesterday's 7.2 earthquake with hundreds already reported dead.

+ We pray for those continuing to be impacted by the ongoing pandemic.

+Prayers are asked for those affected by the extremes of weather-related events including flooding, drought, and fire.

+We join with people across the USA in mourning the deaths of 280 due to gun violence last week.
