+ABC's of Belonging webinar (Sep. 11, 9am) You can probably still remember it: the place; the words; the looks on their faces; the way it made you feel. No matter what else you’ve come to associate with that memory, you knew at that moment that you didn’t belong and it stuck with you. How helpful it would’ve been to know a thing or two about belonging back then—to understand what it really is, why it’s so important, or what most often prevents us from experiencing it. While we can’t go back in time, we do know a better way forward.
+Virtual blood driving coming September 12-25. As you may know, St. Paul's UMC partnered with Vitalant to host a blood drive last spring. With all of the changes we have experienced during the pandemic, hosting a blood drive on-site is not feasible for us. But, we are still committed to the mission of saving lives through blood donation, so we are hosting a virtual blood drive. This is your invitation to take part in this innovative event to support hospital patients in our community. Details will be coming next week on the blog and in the newsletter.
