"Lo, How a Rose E're Blooming," beautifully portrays Christ as the Rose which God brought into the world to brighten our lives and save us from our darkest fears. It is a hymn which expresses the hope that no matter how blear or dark the world becomes, the light of Christ will always be with us. The words and the tune convey God's love for the entire world and the salvation that Christ brings to humankind.
God of hope, bloom into our world with your promises of love, mercy, forgiveness, and life forever. You know our every weakness, failings, and challenges, and you promise o love us unconditionally. Be with us always and bring us into your kingdom to share abundant life with you through Jesus Christ. Amen.
