December 18 @ St. Paul's UMC: Announcements

+Our PATH Fund and Pay-It-Forward Fund have been depleted. In addition to increasing needs present in our community (PATH Fund), an urgent need for assistance has come forward for a member of St. Paul's UMC (Pay-It-Forward).

Please consider a donation at this link to either/both of these funds as soon as possible.

+There will be a Blue Christmas service on the Labyrinth at First UMC - Boulder this afternoon at 5:00 pm. This service acknowledges that for some people, it can be challenging to find joy in this season. Come for a peaceful service of remembrance to honor our losses and grief of all kinds, and to embrace the hope that Jesus brought to the world. There will be candle lighting, music, and reflection.

+Homeless Memorial gathering honoring those in the community experiencing homeslessness who passed away in 2022. Tuesday at 3:30 PM at the Boulder Bandshell (1212 Canyon Blvd.).

+Mountain View UMC is offering its annual Service of Light and Hope (often known as Blue Christmas or Longest Night) on the 20th at 7:00 PM which will be a quiet and contemplative service with candles and beautiful music in the chapel area of the Sanctuary. It is open to all who feel the need for a safe place to take a breath during this season and is sponsored by Mountain View’s Care Team. 

+Make plans now to attend our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day worship services. Our Christmas Eve service will be at 4:00 PM on Saturday with both in-person and Zoom options. Our Christmas Day service will be by Zoom only at the normal time (10:15 AM).

+You are invited to include the gift of life in your Christmas gift-giving this year. Vitalant will hold a blood donation drive in Franz Hall on December 27, 11:00 AM–3:00 PM. There are 34 available appointment slots.
