Twenty-two angels are a part of the nativity scene which I display each Christmas. The angel which I display front and center is barely recognized as an angel by most people. If you look carefully, you see that it has angel characteristics: wings, flowing gown, halo/gold crown, and arms raised upward. It was a gift from my oldest granddaughter, now age 33. Alexandria has always loved art in every form. When she was about six years old. my daughter enrolled her in a ceramics class. Near the Christmas season, the class members were to represent the holiday with an appropriate piece of work. Alexandria is Jewish but always celebrated Christmas with our family and knew about my angel collection and the nativity scene. Lucky Grandmother, to have inherited this beautiful angel as a gift!
