The 2023/24 Advent/Christmas devotional is now available and ready to go with you on this journey that leads us to Bethlehem and beyond. Entries begin today and will continue each day until Epiphany, January 6. In addition to the print copies that are available, daily entries will be on our Facebook page and this blog. Thanks to everyone who contributed!
Ladies Lunch Bunch will meet on Thursday, December 7, at 11:45 a.m. at Parma Trattoria & Mozzarella Bar (Village Shops at Colony Square, 1132 W. Dillon Road, Louisville). Please R.S.V.P. by December 5 to Belinda Alkula.
There is no Fellowship Breakfast this month. Instead, we will be sharing a brunch potluck in Franz Hall next Saturday starting at 9:00 a.m., which will be followed by the Church Conference at 10:00 a.m.
Our annual Church Conference will be held IN PERSON on next Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Our new D.S., the Rev. Jessica Rooks, will preside over this gathering.
O, Mitten Tree! This year the Boulder Shelter has specified that they are looking for donations (NEW and UNWRAPPED) of warm hats, heavy gloves/mittens, wool socks, handwarmers, and $5 gift cards to places where their clients can buy lunch, a cup of coffee, or an essential item: Safeway, McDonalds, Starbucks, Target, etc. (Note that they do NOT want more generous gift cards, as they want to treat all clients equally at the holiday gathering). Please bring your items to the church sanctuary.
EFAA Holiday Gift Room - St. Paul’s will continue our Christmas tradition by donating NEW, UNWRAPPED gifts to support EFAA families. You can find a detailed list on the registration table at the back of the sanctuary. NEXT SUNDAY is the last day to bring donations.
Mountain Sky Conference Laity and Clergy are invited to gather alongside Bishop Karen and Rev. Dr. Joretta Marshall for The Longest Night: Processing Grief Together on December 12 (6:30-7:30 pm) for a time of discovering how grief works in our minds and bodies. Please click here to register so you can get the zoom link.
